<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting system and a parts mounting device provided with it capable of facilitating a new installation or replacement work without requiring complicated composition and trouble, such as rewriting of a buffer memory, a quantity-of-light table, an adjust signal, and a correction value. <P>SOLUTION: When an LED illuminator 27 is attached to an attachment section, a current value correcting unit 51 of a lighting control unit 40 attached to a parts mounting device 1 reads out an ID code from a current value correction memory IC memory 56, and recognizes that the LED illuminator 27 is attached to the attachment section. Further, when a current command value (a) is received from the control unit of the main system, a current correction value (b) of the stage corresponding to the current command value (a) among three steps of a light source 55 is read out from the current value correction memory IC memory 56 of the LED illuminator 27. The current command value (a) is corrected, and corrected current command value (c) is outputted to an amplifier 52.
