PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of outputting excellently information on a spot. SOLUTION: The navigation device 200 in a navigation system 100 acquires present position information on the present position of a vehicle by a present position recognition means in a processing part 280 and destination information on the location of the destination by a destination recognition means, respectively. A route setting means in the processing part 280 recognizes the distance from the present position to the destination based on the present position information, the destination information, map information or the like. A detailed guide information generation means in the processing part 280 sets a sound type and an output form of the sound type corresponding to the distance to the destination, and generates detailed guide information corresponding to the set content. A guide informative means in the processing part 280 outputs the sound type corresponding to the distance to the destination or an effect sound in the output form from speakers 300, 400, 500, 600 based on the detailed guide information.
