PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer having a remaining double bond derived from the nonconjugated diene while reducing cyclization. SOLUTION: The method for producing the ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer uses a catalyst comprising [A] a specific transition metal compound and [B] an activating agent compound capable of forming a metal complex having a polymerization activity by reacting with the component [A].
