PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling unit structure of a multi-layer building capable of preventing various construction work noise, life noise, and vibration generated in an indoor space of one dwelling unit from being transmitted between dwelling units at upper and lower stories. SOLUTION: In this multi-layer building 101, the circumference of one dwelling unit 10 is partitioned by a fixed wall 119 to form the indoor space 31 of one dwelling unit and is connected with an external passage 11 of the dwelling unit through an entrance 33 and a double floor structure in which an upper part floor 23 is laid on a skeleton floor 20 through a floor clearance CL is formed on the whole of the indoor space of one dwelling unit when viewed in a plane. The fixed wall is formed as a wall body whose leg part 119a is joined with the skeleton floor, a wall/floor clearance S2 is formed between a side face of the fixed wall and an end face of the upper part floor, and a floor clearance is formed between the skeleton floor and the upper part floor on the whole of the indoor space of one dwelling unit when viewed in a plane to constitute a sound insulation structure between dwelling units at upper and lower stories.
