PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film or sheet comprising polybutylene terephthalate which has excellent color tone, hydrolysis resistance, thermal stability, transparency, and moldability and has a reduced foreign matter content. SOLUTION: This film or sheet comprises polybutylene terephthalate which contains a titanium compound in an amount of≤100 ppm as titanium atom and has an active parameter X of≤60 defined by the expression : d[COOH]/dt=k×[OH]×X (each signal represents a specific meaning).
