Analysis of the behaviour of an output circuit with a load

The method involves controlling switch elements for switching a digital output during a test period to output test signals at output points and reading back signals at the outputs of the control units via inputs of the output circuit for evaluation by comparison with desired values. The output of test signals is interrupted and useful signals are output as soon as the read back signals coincide with the desired values.
