<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier system capable of preventing congestion before a branch point, and improving the carrying capability of the whole system. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a plurality of unmanned carriers #1-#N traveling along paths and a carriage controller 12 for controlling the traveling of those unmanned carriers.
