PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof heat insulation structure capable of preventing heat bridge phenomenon from occurring in the valley part of a part of a roof material. SOLUTION: In a roof structure, the approximately V-shaped valley part 20 is formed in a part of the roof material 15, and roof tiles 19, for example, are laid down, leaving the valley part 20, on the roof material 15 having the valley part 20 tilted from a ridge side downward toward an eaves side. A bendable, square, and approximately V-shaped insulator 1 is continuously put in the valley part 20 of the roof material 15 according to the angle of the valley part. Valley plates 7 having both end parts fixed to the roof material 15 are joined to the upper surface of the insulator 1 to fix the insulator 1 to the valley part 20 of the roof material 15.
