PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety shelf board simple in structure, capable of being easily manufactured, having a reduced number of parts, easy to handle, further capable of obtaining sufficient strength even using a thin metal plate. SOLUTION: In the shelf board 5 supported on the front face of both struts 1, 1 by engaging hooks 6 formed at both side rear ends into engaging holes 7, 7 formed in front faces of the pair of left and right struts 1, 1, the shelf board has a pair of left and right side boards 9, 9 in which hanging pieces 9b are formed by folding the upper portions of a pair of left and right vertical boards 9a with formed hooks 6 at rear ends thereof and facing in a front and back direction inward into a inverted U shape and horizontal support pieces 9c are formed by folding the lower end portions of the hanging pieces 9b inward by substantial right angle, and a horizontal board shape shelf board body 8 to both the side under faces of which horizontal support pieces 9c are secured.
