MULTIWINDOW DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE:To reduce user's trouble to display a new window when a maximum number of windows are displayed. CONSTITUTION:The maximum number M of display windows which can be displayed on a screen at the same time is previously written in a table I. Each time a window is displayed, the current number N of display windows is written in the table I. At a request to display a new window from an input device 1, a window management task 5-1 compares the current number N of display windows with the maximum number M of display window in the table I, and erases the window of the lowest order among the currently displayed windows and then displays the new requested window as a foremost window on the screen when N and M are equal to each other.
