PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery electrode plate and a manufacturing method of the battery electrode plate in which breakage of a metal foil core material can be certainly prevented and operation of the manufacturing line can be performed smoothly without complicating the manufacturing line, and improvement in the production efficiency and reduction of the facility cost can be realized.

SOLUTION: A press roll pass-by connection portion 8 which has a thickness almost equal to the electrode active material coated part 2 is provided at least at one of the both width end parts of discontinuous exposed part 7 where the electrode active material coated part 2 is not provided in the longitudinal direction of the metal foil core material 1.
