<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functional food containing extract extracted from buckwheat with the germ and functional beverage with which active ingredient comprising polyphenol such as rutin in buchwheat can be effectively taken. <P>SOLUTION: The functional food and the functional beverage respectively containing extract extracted from buchwheat with the germ comprise functional food containing powder obtained by fermenting, freezing and drying buckwheat juice, contain vegetable oil, β-carotene, vitamin D and the like, and are used for atopic dermatitis, asthma prevention, hay fever prevention, allergic coryza prevention, diabetes prevention, arterial sclerosis prevention, blood flow improvement, optimum blood pressure regulation, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition, and varicose vein prevention.
