PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail type fuel injection device, in which leak quantity of an injector is detected, so that injection quantity of the injector is corrected in accordance with the leak quantity in such a way that actual injection quantity injected from the injector coincides with target injection quantity. SOLUTION: Based on pressure fall quantityΔPC/Δτof common rail pressure detected by a common rail pressure sensor 24 per unit time, dynamic leak quantity qic in each injector 3 is determined, and leak quantity change valueΔqic for dynamic quantity qic for each cylinder is determined based on difference between the dynamic leak quantity qic for each cylinder and initial dynamic leak quantity q0c. Based on the leak quantity change valueΔqic, corrected injection quantityΔQic for each injector 3 is determined, and injection quantity injected from each injector 3 is corrected.
