<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit the ability of an inspection device to the maximum from an initial stage of its introduction, for a customer with limited or no operation experience. <P>SOLUTION: A control computer 12 is provided in a support center side X, in this management system for a printed matter inspection device. The printed matter inspection device 13 is provided in a customer side Y existing in a point distant from the support center side X. The control computer 12 is connected to the printed matter inspection device 13 via the Internet I. The printed matter inspection device 13 has a host computer 14 and an inspection equipment 18. The inspection equipment 18 is connected to the host computer 14, and inspects a printed matter.
