PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and efficiently pressurizing fluid; and a method of manufacturing the centrifugal pump. SOLUTION: The centrifugal pump pressurizing the fluid by rotating an impeller, comprises a diffuser portion 11 for reducing the speed of the fluid from the impeller, a return vane 14 for leading the fluid passing through the diffuser portion 11 to a discharging side, and a main plate 12 on which the diffuser portion 11 and the return vane 14 are fixed. A cover plate 13 which makes a flow passage from the diffuser portion 11 to the return vane 14 smooth is equipped, and all components are made from sheet metal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
