PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic focusing control method for a digital camera which solves a problem that focusing control is facilitated by enhancing focusing control accuracy. SOLUTION: The automatic focusing control method for the digital camera includes a 1st step to prepare the digital camera including a lens system, an imaging device, a distance measuring device, a signal processing means, a driving chip and a driving device, a 2nd step to obtain a control signal by supplying data measured by the distance measuring device to the signal processing means, a 3rd step to control the driving device according to the control signal by the driving chip after supplying the control signal to the driving chip, and a 4th step to move the lens system or the imaging device to an optimum fit position by the driving device.
