<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct backlight having a uniform amount of emitting light on the surface. <P>SOLUTION: This is the direct backlight in which an optical semiconductor element is sealed by a resin sealing body made of single or a plurality of resin layers. A light reflection part is formed at the upper part of the resin sealing body, and a plurality of circular light scattering grooves are formed concentrically at the upper part or lower part of one or more resin layers selected from the single or a plurality of resin layers, and the area of a circle being the center and the area of each concentric circles are all equal in substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
