<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin effectively inhibiting activity of elastase derived from a dermal fibroblast by utilizing an extract of flower of Punica granatum in which effect other than effect as a health food has not been found hitherto. <P>SOLUTION: It was found to ameliorate various aging symptoms such as wrinkle, chapped skin and skin dullness by formulating the extract of flower of Punica granatum inhibiting an elastase derived from a dermal fibroblast with one or more kinds of specific agents selected from a humectant, a cell-activating agent, an antiinflammatory agent, an antioxidant, a bleaching agent, a hyaluronidase inhibitor, an antiplasmin agent, an active oxygen inhibitor, a collagenase activity inhibitor, an antihistamic agent and an elastase activity inhibitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
