PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology of preventing a result of a game in a recorded sports program from being carelessly known to a user. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is connected to a server via the Internet in step S71, and receives data from the server in step S72. In step S73, the information processing apparatus acquires the title of a recorded and unviewed program and discriminates whether or not there are data related to the recorded and unviewed program in acquired data in step S74. When the recorded data include the data related to the recorded and unviewed program, the information processing apparatus displays the data by replacing the related data in step S76. For example, when a result of the game is displayed as a news program in the case that the sports program is recorded and not viewed yet, the display of the news program is replaced with another display.
