PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake torque measuring device capable of measuring the brake torque by detecting the distortion while avoiding complication of a section to detect the distortion. SOLUTION: The brake torque measuring device 10 comprises a restraining member 13 which works on a rotary member rotated together with a wheel to restrain the rotation of the rotary member, a supporting member 12 to support the restraining member 13 by a wheel supporting member 11, and an optical fiber 110 which is provided on at least one of the restraining member 13, the wheel supporting member 11 and the supporting member 12, and measures the brake torque by detecting the distortion detected by the optical fiber at a plurality of parts.
