PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a train operation state capable of effectively utilizing a data storage medium, enlarging and reducing a display screen as necessary without unnatural feeling, and preventing generation of flickering of the display screen when arbitrarily switching the display screen. SOLUTION: Unitary defined data in a rolled paper-shaped display are made as a plurality (M) of data 3-1 to 3-M for display prepared for every route of a train, and are made as a plurality (N) of data 4-1 to 4-N for display prepared for every route of a separate system. Each of the data for display is prepared so that specified parts for display may not be overlapped and used within a route. In the data 3-l for display, for instance, the whole data are displayed as a rolled paper-shaped display 5, and a part in the data is extracted as a display screen 6, that is, three stations of XYZ stations are displayed in a successively provided state, for instance.
