PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device which can prevent the occurrent of burning of a molding material when the operation of the injection device is stopped. SOLUTION: After the operation of the injection device is stopped, when a holding time passes while the operation is stopped, the set temperature of a heater 4 is changed automatically to a first waiting temperature lower than the temperature during the operation, and the temperature of inside the cylinder 1 is lowered. While the operation of the injection device is stopped, even when a molten resin of the molding material is retained for a long time in the cylinder 1, the occurrence of burning in the molten resin by the heat of the heater 4 is suppressed.
