<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient ball-point pen which can be set to a proper pressurizing force level which brings about an excellent writing quality to ball-point pens showing different characteristics and serve for writing purpose in drawing lines of thin, middle and thick letters by selecting the pressurizing force stepwise. <P>SOLUTION: The pressurizing-type ball-point pen is of such a structure that a ball-point pen tip is fitted to the apex, a rear ink storage part is filled with ink and a pumping-type pressurizing mechanism is housed behind the ink storage part. Air is sent in by the pumping operation of the pressurizing mechanism to pressurize the rear end of the ink, and a stopper which freely moves by its own weight by changing the direction of a ball-point pen barrel, is provided forward of the pressurizing mechanism.
