<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor drive control device, capable of efficiently suppressing rotating period fluctuations of the rotor by exactly detecting the rotational period fluctuation, using an inexpensive and simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When the rotor which is driven by the turning force of a motor, a plurality of objects 13 to be detected which are disposed annularly about a rotating shaft 12 of the rotor; a detector 14 for detecting the objects 13 to be detected; a first section which has two of the objects 13 to be detected at both edges; and a second section which has the objects to be detected at both edges including at least one object to be detected different from that of the first section are set. This rotor drive control device is provided with a passing time detection device, which detects a passing time of the first section and the second section to the detector based on a signal from the detector, when the rotor rotates; an amplitude/phase generating device for generating the amplitude and the phase of the rotating period fluctuations, regarding a desired period of the rotor, based on the passing time detected by the passing time detection device; and a rotation control device for controlling the rotation of the motor so as to reduce the rotating period fluctuations, based on the amplitudes and the phases generated by the amplitude/phase generating device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
