PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner scattering from a developing means, especially, toner scattering caused by air flowing out from the end in the axial direction of a developing roller. SOLUTION: Space is provided between the housing of the developing means and the end of the developing roller, and the space is partitioned to 1st space and 2nd space by a partitioning member.
