PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a washing apparatus for a toilet which reduces load exerted on a motor. SOLUTION: A locking part 35 is formed in an inner surface of a handle 24, and the locking part 35 is integrally rotated with the handle 24 by rotational action of an output shaft 25. A first stopper 36 and a second stopper 37 which are engaged with the locking part 35 are formed in an outside surface of a cover 23, and a rotational range of the locking part 35 is restricted by the first stopper 36 and the second stopper 37. When an output shaft 25 is rotated in a valve opening direction X by driving of a motor 38, the locking part 35 of the handle 24 engaged with the first stopper 36 moves to a position close to the second stopper 37 by driving of the motor 38. Power supply to the motor 38 is blocked when the handle 24 is pivotably moved to the position close to the second stopper 37.
