PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent outflow of washing water in a washing process of a pan coating apparatus to the outside of a drum unit. SOLUTION: A rotation drum 2 rotates around an approximately horizontal axial line M. A jacket 6 is arranged on the outside of the rotation drum 2. A plurality of air passage parts 5 communicated between the inside of the jacket 6 and the inside of the rotation drum 2 are disposed on the outer peripheral part of the rotation drum 2. A plurality of feeding and discharging paths 9 extended along the axial line direction disposed correspondingly to the respective air passage parts 5 are connected with the jacket 6. The feeding and discharging paths 9 are extended biasedly in the peripheral direction with respect to an extension direction P of the axial line M. The air passage parts 5 are biasedly disposed in the reverse direction to the normal rotation direction of the rotation drum with respect to the normal line S and the end parts 5a located on the rear tail side in the normal rotation direction come into contact with a barrier wall 8a of the jacket 6.
