OUTPUT SYSTEM, HOST COMPUTER, OUTPUT DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OUTPUT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output system for storing only a set value desired by a user in a non-volatile memory.

SOLUTION: This output system is constituted of a host device 10 and a printer 20 for outputting information by referring a set value set in a device on the basis of a command from the host device. The printer is provided with a set value storing part 36 for reference for temporarily storing the set value to be referred to when outputting information, a non-volatile storage part 41 for storing the set value to be read to the set value storage part for reference, and a set value storage part 35 for storage for temporarily storing the set value transmitted from the host device in order to write it in the non-volatile storage part. The host device is characterized to transmit command data to command the storage of the set value in the set value storage part for storage, writing of the set value in the set value storage part for storage in the non-volatile storage part and reading of the set value in the non-volatile storage part to the set value storage part for reference to the printer under the control of a CPU 18.
