PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molding process using a liquid crystal polymer which has excellent stretchability while good mechanical physical properties are kept, has excellent adhesive properties with a different kind of polymer, and has excellent blow molding properties. SOLUTION: The blow molding process molds a wholly aromatic polymer having characteristics below described and exhibiting an optical anisotropy during being softened and flowing, at a temperature of 180-270°C. The wholly aromatic polymer (1) comprises (A) 4-hydroxybenzoic acid and (B) 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid as monomer components, (2) has a ratio of (A)+(B) of≥30 mol%, (3) contains no aliphatic compound in a raw material monomer, (4) has a melt viscosity at 230°C of 20-4,000 Pa s, and (5) has a melt tension at 230°C of≥20 mN.
