PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter for a counter kitchen unit that screens the kitchen space from view and water splashes by temporarily partitioning a kitchen space off an adjoining room space such as a dining room, and improves a feeling of openness, irrespective of ambient environmental conditions such as fixtures such as a wall cupboard hung above the counter, and the wall structure of a room. SOLUTION: The counter for a counter kitchen unit is provided between a kitchen space and an adjoining room space such as a dining room. The extension 4 of a counter top 2 extended toward the adjoining room side is a separate body.
