EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR DATA COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data communication equipment for specifying an IC memory mounted on the communication equipment and performing data communication with respect to the communication equipment with the IC memory mounted thereon, and also to provide a data communication method.

SOLUTION: A transmission side mobile phone 100 receives a domain ID for uniquely specifying the freely removable IC memory from an application 102. Based on the received domain ID, a communication driver 105 acquires the IP address of a communication opposite party from a name server 300 which stores the domain ID and the IP address by correspondence. The communication driver 105 acquires a port ID which is assigned to the application by the IC memory of the communication opposite party, and transmits the domain ID and the port ID to the IP address together with transmission data. The communication opposite party starts the application based on the received port ID, and performs an appropriate processing.
