<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite machine management system capable of reducing the load on a management server. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine management system 10 has a management center 12 and a plurality of composite machines 14. The management center 12 includes a management server 20 and a communication server 22. The management server 20 stores data on requests to each composite machine 14 and reports to the communication server 22 request object information showing the composite machine 14 of interest. The communication server 22 includes a request object information storage means for storing the request object information and a polling accepting means for accepting confirmation polling from the composite machine 14 for determining presence of a request to the composite machine 14, and when presence is determined, returning request data by accessing the management server 20, while when determining that there is no request to the composite machine 14, answering that there is no request, without accessing the management server 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
