PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment with which hydrogen can be manufactured at a low cost while suppressing corrosion deterioration. SOLUTION: In the hydrogen manufacturing equipment provided with a reactor 110 for producing a sulfuric acid water solution and a hydrogen iodide water solution by reacting iodine, sulfur dioxide and water with each other, a separator 120 for separating the sulfuric acid water solution from the hydrogen iodide water solution by difference of their gravities, a concentrator 130 for concentrating the separated hydrogen iodide water solution, a decomposer 140 for decomposing the concentrated hydrogen iodide into iodine and hydrogen, a cooling separator 150 for isolating the hydrogen produced by decomposition and supplying the iodine produced by decomposition to the reactor 110, a concentrator 160 concentrating the separated sulfuric acid water solution, a decomposer 170 for decomposing the concentrated sulfuric acid into sulfur dioxide, oxygen and water, and a cooling separator 180 for supplying the sulfur dioxide produced by decomposition to the reactor 110, the concentrator 160 is provided with first and second vacuum distillators 161 and 162 for distillating off water from the sulfuric acid water solution under a vacuum atmospfere at a temperature of 110°C or lower.
