PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic composite material having a dense metal membrane excellent in adhesion or a membrane containing a metal as a main component on the surface of a plastic substrate and a method which can simply produce the plastic composite material and is inexpensive and ecological. SOLUTION: The plastic composite material has the substrate 1 of a plastic material and the metal membrane 2 or the membrane 2 containing the metal as a main component which is formed by jetting the metal powder at a high speed on the surface of the substrate.
