<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and the like, which can do printing even in the environment of absence of a dedicated printer driver, dispense with the setting of an address in each printing function, and usably print printing object data according to setting desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A first input means 11 receives information on an address of the user. According to the received information on the address, a notification means 15 notifies the address of a URL of a Web page for making printing setting associated with the printing target data.
