<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory capacity necessary for preserving time information separately from an input data stream, when decrypting video and audio data or managing information output timing in a media reproduction apparatus for synchronously reproducing information such as sound. <P>SOLUTION: A time information unit conversion means 130 converts a time information data into a time information unit conversion data which is a predetermined unit. A time information separation means 140 divides an input time information unit conversion data into an upper-bit time information data and a lower-bit time information data, and preserves into an upper-bit time information data memory 151 and a lower-bit time information data memory 152.
