PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate formulation containing agar that is obtained by dripping an aqueous solution containing agar to a cooling medium and drying a solid (gel) obtained by the dripping and prevents aggregation of, damage to, or the like, of the particulate formulation even if ethanol is used in a deoiling process or a drying process in order to reduce the use of a poisonous substance such as an organic solvent, in the production process. SOLUTION: This particulate formulation containing agar is obtained by dripping the aqueous solution containing agar into the cooling medium and drying the solid (gel) obtained by the dripping. The aqueous solution containing agar contains one or more kinds of substances selected from a saccharide, a sugar alcohol and a water-soluble polymer hardly soluble in ethanol.
