An air stream (7b) created by a fan (7c) is guided through a heating cartridge (13a) provided with a temperature sensor and directed to the measuring pipette (11) dispensing the material (3a) onto the soldering spot. The pre-heated wire (3a) is moved by a feeding device (14) through a guiding pipe (16) to the pipette (11) in order to reach the soldering spot already in liquid state. The system can be used for a manually operated tool as well as in an automated unit.
