The conveyor has two parallel chain hoists (3) provided for driving a carrier (2) in conveying direction (X). An attachment (4) is provided at the carrier for engaging with one of the chain hoist. The attachment and the chain hoist are connected with one another for transference of the conveying direction on the carrier over a bumper (5). The bumper is arranged between the chain hoist and the carrier.
