PURPOSE: A method of growing bean sprouts using fermented sawdust liquid is provided. It prevents the incidence of spoilage during culturing and recycles fermented sawdust liquid, thereby remarkably reducing the quantity of water being used and improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: During growth of bean sprouts, fermented sawdust liquid is used as cultivation water, discharged fermented sawdust liquid also is reused as cultivation water. The bean spouts are selected from the group consisting of soybean sprouts, green bean sprouts, radish sprouts and germinated unpolished rice. For an example, 2 ton sawdust having a moisture content of 70% is mixed with 50g raw sugar, 40g rice bran and strains and fermented with 20L ground water and 200kg sesame dregs for 1 month to give fermented sawdust, which is mixed with ground water in a ratio of 10:90, allowed to settle for 24hr and filtered to give fermented sawdust liquid. |
