[Also in Groups VI and XXIII] A scalp-treating and massaging tool, comprises an upper gripping portion and a lower operating portion and consists of a piece of resilient material formed with a row of straight teeth which are spaced apart lengthwise of the row, the width of each tooth lengthwise of the row being greater than the thickness. As shown the free ends of the teeth 1 may lie in an arcuate line, fitting the surface of the scalp, and may be provided with a centre groove. The gripping portion 2 may be reinforced by doubling over or by superposing strips of material. In a modified form, Fig. 11, which resembles a brush, teeth 1, punched from a strip of resilient material are secured, in rows, in a rigid back member 9.
