A ball lens (10) includes a connector body (12) that couples or attaches to a dental curing light (30) so as to capture at least some of the light emitted by the light source (28), an elongate light guide (14) extending from the connector body (12), and a light-emitting ball (16) at an end of the light guide (14) distal to the connector body (12). The ball (16) can be used to hold a matrix band against an adjacent tooth prior to and/or while incrementally curing a light curable composition. |
