The invention relates to a monolithic controller (1) for the generator unit of a motor vehicle which is firmly connected to a heat sink. Preferably, the heat sink is a heat conductive ceramic substrate (4) which is also provided with electrically conductive connections (v1-v5), preferably copper structures. The monolithic controller is firmly connected to the substrate in an unpacked form.
