The device has an apron guided laterally by a slide (7) on a top end (6) engaging with a lug which is integrated to a support side (5). The support side supports a winding tube of the apron. The slide includes a fixing unit (8) cooperating with a complementary fixing unit (8A) associated with the lug in order to immobilize the lug in the slide between two vertical positions.
