<p>PURPOSE: To provide a variable capacitor where solder can be surely prevented from infiltrating into the inside of a cover by improving a shape of the cover. CONSTITUTION: This variable capacitor is provided with a stator 2, having stator electrodes 5, 6 and stator terminals 7, 8 which are electrically connected with the stator electrodes, a rotor 3 which is arranged on the upper part of the stator 2 and is provided with a rotor electrode 11 facing the stator electrodes 5, 6 via dielectrics, and a conductive cover 4 having a cover terminal 18 for external connection which is electrically connected with the rotor electrode 11, fixed to the stator 2 so as to hold the rotor 3 rotatably to the stator 2 and stretched along a side surface of the stator 2 as far as the vicinity of a lower surface position of the stator 2. A protruded part 18a for reserve is formed in the middle part of the cover terminal 18, so that solder and flux S are prevented from infiltrating into the inside of the cover 4, when reflow soldering is performed.</p> |
