<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling dust developed in a converter with which the yield in the converter process can be improved by recycling the dust developed in the converter as metallic iron into the converter and the recycle process time is shortened at a low cost. SOLUTION: The recycling process, in which the oxidation of metallic iron in the iron powder-containing dust developed at blowing time in the converter, is restrained and the metallic iron is recovered and led back to the converter process, is provided with a first process, in which the iron powder-containing dust is recovered with a wet-type system, a second process, in which the iron powder-containing dust having large grain diameter easily precipitation-separated from the iron powder-containing dust, is removed with a coarse grain separator and the remaining iron powder-containing dust is precipitated with a precipitation tank and slurry is formed, a third process, in which the slurry is compressed with a filter press and a platy cake is formed, a fourth process, in which the shape of the platy cake is held and discharged into a drying vessel from the filter press, a fifth process, in which the cake is dried in the drying vessel, and a sixth process, in which the cake after drying is discharged from the drying vessel and charged into the converter.</p> |
