The translator has a codification reader (2), a conversion unit (3) for performing codification in electronic signals, and an electronic signals transmission unit (4). A programmable unit (5) is provided for processing of the electronic signals. The programmable unit includes a memory unit, in which average of codification is associated to a modifiable and rewriteable sonorous message. A sound reproduction unit is adapted to receive the electronic signals and to emit the sonorous message to a bar code based on result of the processing of the electronic signals.
