The high or low voltage cable having such a coating is protected effectively from damages caused by accidental impacts and has reduced width and overall dimensions. It includes three conductors (1) each being sheathed with internal semiconducting coating (2), insulation layer (3), external semiconducting layer (4) and metal grating (5). In order to produce a cable with round section the space between the conductors (1) and around them is filled by expanded polymer material (10) which is coated by an external polymer sheathing (6).
