<p>External-ignited internal combustion engine (3) comprises an adsorber (1) arranged on a carrier, on which is applied an absorption layer surrounded by an exhaust gas stream and is suitable for reversibly adsorbing NOx and SOx, and a controller (4), above which at a high adsorber temperature regeneration of the adsorber occurs by adjusting required parameters of the exhaust gas stream. Heating of the adsorber occurs above the controller to bring the temperature of the adsorber to the temperature required for regeneration. Also claimed is a process for remaining NOx from an exhaust gas stream.</p> |
