PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the road noise characteristic and/or riding comfort and also enhancing the durability. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 is equipped with a belt layer 6, a reinforcing layer 7 formed on the outside in the tire diametric direction of the belt layer 6 by winding spirally a coated cord with gaps reserved between turns, the coated cord being prepared by coating a cord with rubber, and a rubber layer 8 having a hardness of E60-200 between the belt layer 6 and the reinforcing layer 7.
